Dr. Liu joined Insight IP in 2016 and has been a patent attorney since 2018. He handles patent applications in China and overseas for domestic and international clients. He has been a team leader dedicated to a major Korean display device manufacturer.

Due to his education in physics, Dr. Liu is familiar with the working principles of various semiconductor and electronic components. He specializes in patent drafting, prosecution, re-examination, invalidation and protection, with experience in outbound patent practice in the United States, and Europe as well as patent drafting in English. Dr. Liu is the first batch of AI core patent drafter designated by a well-known technology company in Beijing. Dr. Liu is the first batch of core patent drafter designated by a well-known optoelectronic information company in Zhejiang and is familiar with the working principle of lens components and the process of relevant cases.

Dr. Liu’s clients include major European, Japanese and American electronics companies, universities in Hong Kong and a major Korean display device manufacturer.
