Ms. Yang was a Patent Engineer at Insight IP from 2004 to 2008. Utilizing her expertise in telecommunications and computer applications, she drafted and prosecuted domestic and international applications in the electronic and telecommunication areas.
Ms. Yang has been a Patent Attorney at Insight IP since 2008, and a team leader and deputy department manager for the electrical and mechanical department since 2010. She has also been a client team leader for one of the three major Chinese wireless service providers. Ms. Yang provides comprehensive intellectual property services, including: designing patent protection strategies; drafting applications; patent analyses; team management, such as team building and professional training, in the fields of communications and computer science; and providing clients with professional advice in patent mining, patent searching, and patent layouts, as well as patent validity and infringement opinions. Ms. Yang is also gaining experience in dealing with complex applications and becoming increasingly familiar with patent practices in USPTO, JP, and EPO.
Ms. Yang has thorough knowledge of the prosecution practices in Europe, the United States and Japan. Using her experience in challenging patent prosecutions, Ms. Yang provides professional advice and assistance to domestic and international clients in the areas of patent discovery, patent searching, patent strategy, and invalidity and infringement opinions. Ms. Yang’s clients include a major Japanese entertainment enterprise, a major Korean display device manufacturer, a multinational electronics and ceramics manufacturer, major Japanese, European and US telecommunication companies, and universities in China and Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Insight IP, Ms. Yang was a researcher in a domestic research and development laboratory for two years.
