In 2001, Ms. Ma entered the field of intellectual property rights. She had ten years of experience in the practical examination of inventions and won many honorary titles such as "Excellent Examiner", "Quality Inspection Expert", "Outstanding Contribution Award", and "Model Communist Party Member". Ms. Ma is an agent for civil/administrative patent litigation filed by the Supreme Court, and has acted as an agent for administrative retrial cases in the Supreme Court of international famous enterprises, as well as several patent litigation and invalid cases between industry leaders. In 2013, she was elected as the first director of Beijing Intellectual Property Law Research Association and has been appointed as a member of the Patent Law Professional Committee. In 2020, she was selected as one of the top 10 "2019 Outstanding Women in Intellectual Property Circle". She is now an expert in the expert database of Beijing Intellectual Property Office, and an expert in the selection of "High Value Patent Portfolio Cultivation Scheme" of the national IP operation platform.

In 2003, Ms. Ma was assigned to the European Patent Office (The Hague, Netherlands) to participate in business training exchanges.

In 2006-07, Ms. Ma was seconded to the Intellectual Property Division of the First Intermediate People's Court of Beijing, specializing in jury work, and jury nearly 200 intellectual property cases.

From 2008 to 11, Ms. Ma was seconded to the quality inspection team of the State Intellectual Property Office, specializing in the quality inspection of bureau level cases. And carried out quality inspection on nearly 1000 patent examination cases, including cases of invalidation/re-examination decisions of the re-examination committee, and have been employed by the State Intellectual Property Office as "quality inspection experts" (one of the first 50) for three consecutive years.

In 2009, participated in the national agent examination marking work; Participated in the compilation of 《Game of Industrial Interests - American 337 Survey》 (Law Press) of Peking University Law School.  Ms. Ma has independently published more than ten professional papers in China Intellectual Property News, China Inventions and Patents and other publications.

From 2011 to 13，a senior partner of an intellectual property agency, who was once a domestic manager and a domestic electrical director, established a domestic electrical team and developed and maintained key customers, and was responsible for the company's patent litigation and invalid cases.

In 2013，Ms. Ma joined Insight IP. She is fully responsible for creating a domestic business department, building a high-quality team, developing and maintaining key customers, and managing business operations.
