Mr. Xuewen Zhang joined Insight in 2006. His practice focuses on drafting patent applications and attending to prosecution.

Mr. Zhang was a software engineer before devoting into IP field. He has developed various control systems as well as computer software applications for many clients such as OKI Electric Industry Co., Ltd., NTT Data Corporation, Recruit Co., Ltd., JMA Systems Corporation, Computer Engineering & Consulting, Ltd., Rating Investment Information Inc., and INFOVEC Corporation, etc. More than 20 years’ experience of researching & developing work facilitates him a thorough understanding of ?the technical proposals sought to be protected. Before joining the firm, Mr. Zhang was a part-time translator for some Chinese patent agencies and has translated numerous patent applications.
