Ms. Hongmei Qi joined the firm in 2008. Ms. Qi graduated from Dalian University of Technology in 2004 and then worked as a technical editor in a Japanese company till February 2008. She is now devoted in translating and preparing patent applications in the field of mechanics. Owing to her working experience as an editor in Japan, Ms. Qi has good understanding of Japanese language as well as their communication style.

When Ms. Qi was in Japan, she took courses and passed preliminary examinations held by the Japanese Patent Office for training Japanese patent attorneys. Ms. Qi was also a part-time patent translator of Insight and translated many patent documents from Japanese into Chinese prior to joining the firm.
