Mr. Wu joined Insight IP in 2010 after receiving a master’s degree from Beijing Forestry University. He assists foreign applicants with their Chinese patent applications. Mr. Wu has extensive experience in translating and preparing Chinese national phase applications; drafting patent applications in both Chinese and English; preparing responses to office actions in substantive examination proceedings; and handling patent reexamination and invalidation cases.

From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Wu assisted in the publishing of "Advanced Biochemistry Experiments," an experimental textbook, and authored the chapter, "The Preparation and Purity Determination of Soybean Cotyledon Plasma Membranes Using Aqueous Duo-Phase Methods." From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Wu participated in a National Natural Science Foundation project to research ultra-dry storage of seeds. Specifically, he researched the function of NADPH oxidase in the development, storage and germination of seeds by extracting the plasma membrane via an aqueous duo-phase system. Mr. Wu is also the author of two publications in the Journal of Integrative Plant Biology, 2009 Sep. 51(9): 858-867, and the World Soybean Research Conference VIII.
